I had the pleasure of working with Massimo Borio in the fall of 2021. When I first started working with Massimo we were still toggling between levels of pandemic safety, customer service, and fiscal management creating a new management landscape. Many on my team were having trouble rebounding from moving a high-touch customer service division to a no-touch deliverable. The tools that he used helped me to work through the challenges I was having keeping my team engaged and motivated. The combination of a 360 evaluation, a management self-assessment comparing “normal” to “stressful” times, and his probing questions helped me refine my approach with peers and subordinates.
